Regular meetings at which information about people experiencing domestic violence or abuse and who are at high risk (those at risk of homicide or serious harm) is shared between local agencies. Whenever possible, the person who experiences the violence is represented by an independent domestic violence adviser or advocate (IDVA). Participants aim to draw up a coordinated safety plan to support the person. In many areas they are funded by the local community safety partnership, in some areas they are funded by the police or local authorities.

This is a monthly meeting where professionals across criminal justice agencies and other bodies dealing with offenders share information on high risk cases of domestic violence and abuse and put in place a risk management plan.

A regular meeting in your local area where information is shared between different organisations (such as the council, police, health services and others) about individuals who are at high risk of domestic violence or abuse. The organisations at the meeting discuss how to help people who are at risk of harm, and create an action plan to make them safer.
